BUTWAL, MAR 18 -
A person has been killed when an armed group attacked and raided at Rudrapur Ashnaiya of Haraiya VDC in Rupandhehi district on Wednesday night.
According to the police, one Dhankumari Thapa, 58, died when the robbers attacked her.
In retaliation with the armed robbers, seven people have been injured. They have been identified as Chandra Bahadur Rana, Nar Bahadur Thapa, Badri Kala Khauja, Nanda Bahadur Thapa, Gir Bahadur, and others.
Despite retaliation, the robbers have succeeded in looting hundreds of thousands of cash and ornament from the houses of Nanda Bahadur and Gir Bahadur.
Among the injured, Chandra Bahadur has sustained critical injury.
All the injured are undergoing treatment at the Lumbini Zonal Hospital in Butwal.
The police have intensified the search mission to nab the robbers.
