Deuba to give candidacy for NC Prez

BARDIBAS, MAR 18 -

Nepali Congress senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba Thursday said that the government's change can not be the solution for the present political stalemate.

Deuba said so while talking to local NC cadres in Bardibas. He said political consensus and coordination among parties is necessary to end the stalemate.

The NC leader also stressed on the need for UCPN-Maoists' support to write constitution and lead the peace process to the logical conclusion.

In a query about his leadership in the party, Deuba said he would give his candidacy for the party's president in the upcoming general assembly to make it strong.
