NEPALGUNJ, MAR 18 -

CPN-UML Politburo member Beduram Bhusal said on Thursday that consensus among political parties is the only alternative to promulgate the new constitution on time.

Speaking at a function organised in Nepalgunj chapter of Press Chautari, Bhusal stressed that the issues of constitution drafting, peace process, governance system and federalism should be settled on the basis of a common agreement among parties.

In another context, he said the threat of people’s revolt by the UCPN (Maoist) is hollow.
