DPM Gachhadar hopeful of crisis resolution
MALANGAWA, MAR 16 -
Deputy Prime Minister and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum- Loktantrik (MJF- L) Chairman Bijay Kumar Gachhadar on Tuesday expressed his hope that the political deadlock in the country will be resolved in a week or so.
He said the political issues will be solved after the UCPN (Maoist) brings in no confidence motion against the government. According to him, attempts will be made to bring all the parties together to forge consensus on the agenda of constitution drafting.
Speaking at a programme organised in Malangawa this afternoon, DPM Gachhadar who returned from India visit two days ago said that the Indian political parties and leaders are willing to see sustainable peace in the country and timely promulgation of new constitution.
In another context, the Deputy Prime Minister backed the Army Chief’s recent remarks regarding the army integration. He said the combatants who are politically indoctrinated cannot be taken up in the national army en masse.
However, he opined that the Maoist combatants must be integrated prior to the promulgation of the new constitution.
