A woman from Mahadevpuri-2, Buchapur of Banke district killed her son and daughter before killing herself by consuming poison.
The mother identified as Chandramaya Oli and her children Ranbir, 5, and Shanti, 5, who had gone missing for the past three days, were found lying dead at Ghigheri Community Forest in the VDC.
A bottle of pesticide named thyodine was found along with the dead bodies, police said.
The bodies of the kids were tied by a scarf.
Police have speculated that the poison was mixed with sugar and consumed.
Meanwhile, police took Oli's husband into custody for investigation.
