RAJBIRAJ, MAR 15 -

A patrol team of Armed Police Force (APF) arrested one activist of the underground outfit Madhesi Mukti Tigers (MMT) along with arms at Kupahi Tole of Koichha Bakhari-5 in Shaptri district on Monday.

The arrestee, identified as Chanda Mandal of Rajbiraj was held with one home made pistol and its one round of bullet, APF Deputy Superintendent of Police Bharat Paneru said.

Police have claimed that Mandal, who identifies himself as an activist of MMT, has a history of involvement in different criminal activities.
