RAMECHHAP, MAR 15 -

At least 20 people including six Nepal Police personnel were hurt when a passenger bus veered off the road at Bangepipal of Bhirpani in Ramechhap on Monday afternoon.

Among the injured, the condition of Keshav Pradhan, Ganesh Lama of Majhuwa, Jhagar Nepali, Atal Ghising, Ramesh Tamang, Binod Raya and one policeman Harka Bahadur Lama are said to be critical.

All the injured have been sent to the capital for treatment, police said.

The bus, which was carrying some 70 people notwithstanding its capacity, fell some 50 metres down the road after its brake failed, according to the police.
