KATHMANDU, MAR 15 - President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav on Monday morning visited ailing Nepali Cogress President Girija Prasad Koirala at Sahid Gangalal Heart Centre in Bansbari.

The president enquired about the health condition of Koirala, who has been admitted at the hospital since Sunday evening.

According to doctors involved in his treatment, Koirala's condition is gradually improving.

A press conference will be organised at the hospital later today to inform about Koiral's condition to the media.

"Koirala drank a cup of black tea this morning," NC Acting President Sushil Koirala said.

It has been learnt that Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal will also visit Koirala later today.

Koirala was rushed to the Hospital after the level of haemoglobin in his blood dropped and complained difficulties in breathing.

The octagenarian leader is a patient of chronic respiratory diseases and has been confined to bed for the past few months.
