Armed group robs nine houses in Mahendranagar
MAHENDRANAGAR, MAR 13 -
An armed group looted cash and valuables from nine houses in Mahendranagar on Friday night.
According to police, the armed group robbed Rs. 92,000 and around 268.26 grams of gold from the houses belonging to Chandra Bahadur Chand, Nanda Lal Pant, Kashiram Upadhyay, Siku Chaudhari, Devi Dutta Bhatta and Devi Dutta Panta of Nimbakheda of Bhim Dutta-18, and Moti Nepal, Krishna Dutta Bhatta and Krishna K.C of Ulttakham in the district.
At least nine people have sustained injuries in retaliation with the armed robbers.
Among the injured, three have been identified as Moti Nepal,41, her mother Subhadra Nepal,60, and Rampyari Chaudhary. They have sustained critical injuries and been ferried to hospitals in India after they could not be treated at the Mahakali Zonal Hospital.
Police have undertaken search mission to arrest the robbers.
