Suicide bomb kills 12, wounds 35 in Pakistani city
LAHORE, MAR 12 -
Police say at least 12 people were killed in a suicide bombing in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore.
Senior police official Umar Virk says some 35 others were wounded. He indicated two explosions might have occurred.
The blast Friday struck the RA Bazaar, which lies in a neighborhood where several security agencies have facilities.
It's the second time this week that Lahore has been hit by a bomb attack. The last one targeted a police interrogation facility, killing 13 people.
The attacks have shattered a period of relative calm in Pakistan, which has been battling al-Qaida and Taliban violence.
