Constituent Assembly member and youth leader of the Nepali Congress Gagan Thapa Friday warned that the country will plunge into a serious crisis if the peace process is not taken to a logical end and for that it is a must to issue a pro-people constitution on time.

He also said a democratic constitution can be drafted with the help and collaboration of all political parties.

Thapa said it will be very difficult to carry forward peace and development activities if the constitution is not promulgated by May 28.

Also on the occasion, he urged all concerned to be honest to end the transitional phase.
