BIRATNAGAR, MAR 11 -

Two unidentified armed men shot at CPN-UML youth wing Youth Force (YF) Morang district Co-ordinator Parshuram Basnet and his assistant Parashuram Rai in Biratnagar on Thursday evening.

The motorcycle-borne assailants fired shots at youth leaders at Janapath in the district headquarters at around 6:30 this evening, police said.

Basnet has sustained bullet injuries in his thigh and waistline, and Rai in his back.

They are undergoing treatment at Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital.
