Hindu state without king: Kali Baba

CHITWAN, MAR 10 -  

During his visit to Devghat here Wednesday, Kalidas Baba said that Nepal could be declared a Hindu country even without king.

He said that Nepal would soon be declared a Hindu state as per the people's aspirations.

He, however, said Nepali people would decide whether to restore monarchy or not. The baba also prophesied that the new constitution would not be promulgated on schedule at any cost.

He arrived in the district with his followers, including Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party leader Hridayesh Tripathi.
