ACC U-16 Elite Cup: Nepal beat Kuwait by 101 runs

KATHMANDU, MAR 09 -
Nepal registered their second consecutive victory in the ongoing ACC U-16 Elite Cup defeating Kuwait by 101 runs on Tuesday.
In a match played at the TU Cricket Ground today, Nepal posted 184 runs target losing all wickets in 40 overs.
Nepal lost the toss and was invited to bat first.
Nepali allrounder Nischal Pandey scored 53 runs, Sarat Khadka chipped 33 and Satish Bhagat made 29 runs to post the decent target.
An all-round performance of Pandey that included five wickets also helped Nepal to win the match comfortably.
Kuwait lost all their wickets in 25 overs making just 82 runs.
Pandey’s five-wicket haul followed by Bibek Chaudhary’s three wickets destroyed the Kuwaiti batting order.
Nepal will meet Bahrain on Thursday.
