SINDHUPALCHOWK, MAR 07 -

Two persons were killed and three others injured when a private jeep skidded off the road at Chere, Sindhupalchowk along the Araniko highway on Saturday night. The ill-fated Bolero jeep (Ba 7 Cha 8373) heading to Kathmandu from Dolakha plunged some 150 meters down the road.

The deceased have been identified as Dambar Siwakoti, of Dolakha district, Roshan Siwakoti, a permanent resident of Jhapa district, currently living in Balkot, Bhaktapur.

The injured persons have been undergoing treatment at Dhulikhel hospital. The accident took place while they were returning after attending a programme of Siwakoti society.
