SYANGJA, FEB 27 -

UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has warned to rule the country by introducing a new constitution from the street if the present government did not fall soon.

"We have right to govern the country by promulgating constitution from the street if the reactionaries conspire against us," he said while inaugurating the national convention of Maoist-affiliated Magar Rastriya Mukti Morcha in Syangja on Saturday.

He said the incumbent government is but a drama and will end shortly.

Those who were defeated by the people and those who have failed the nation were brought to the government by hatching conspiracy, he said.

He said the reactionary forces that are creating obstruction in the establishment of federal republic will be crushed after forming Maoist-led government and writing the people-oriented constitution.

"It has been agreed to find the possible solution of constitution drafting, army integration and unconstitutional move of the present in a package. We need to give a last blow if the elements that are accustomed to deceive people since past hatch conspiracy against us."

He further said that the country remained poor despite its riches of natural resources as it always bowed to the foreign power centre.

He pledged that his party would never bow to the foreign forces. He also reiterated that late king Birendra Shah and leader Madan Bhandari were murdered as they stood firm to protect national sovereignty.
