One killed, six missing when microbus plunges into Trishuli
CHITWAN, FEB 23 - A passenger has been killed and other six are missing when a microbus fell down to the bank of Trishuli River at Ghoptebhhir along the Mugling-Narayanghat road section on Tuesday morning.
The microbus ( Ga 1 Kha 2462) was heading to Kathmandu from Narayanghat. It veered off the road and fell 40 feet down.
The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Prasad Joshi, 29 of Patan VDC-4.in Baitadi district.
Twenty-one injured have been rescued and ferried to a hospital in Chitwan where they are undergoing treatment.
Among them, Nawaraj Bastakoti, 39, of Mangalpur, Chitwan and Shambhu Lamsal of Sharadanagar, Chitwan have sustained critical injuries.
Meanwhile, the rescue mission is still underway.
