KATHMANDU, FEB 21 - Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal is scheduled to appear before the State Affairs Committee of the Parliament on Sunday.

The committee had, last week, decided to seek explanation from the prime minister about the delay in the appointment of heads and members of various constitutional bodies.

Members of the ruling and opposition parties had demanded that a time-bound directive be issued to the government for appointment of these officials.
