KJWP halts export of natural resources from Udayapur
UDAYAPUR , FEB 14 - Kirat Janabadi Workers Party (KJWP) has halted the export of natural resources and means from Udayapur district including other Kirant state-declared areas.
KJWP, an armed outfit active in eastern hills, has also warned to the concerned bodies not to export any sorts of natural resources and means from any parts citing rampant smuggling of timbers, sand and pebbles being exported from the district.
The party has claimed the natural property found in the district including other Kirant state-announced areas belongs to the natives of these areas.
None has the right to export the natural resources and means from here to other places without getting permission from the party, said the KJWP.
The outfit has been launching an armed movement in eastern hilly districts demanding an autonomous Kirat state.
