Indian national arrested from TIA in connection with Shah's murder
KATHMANDU, FEB 11 - Police arrested an Indian national in suspicion of involvement in the murder of media entrepreneur Jamim Shah from the Tribhuvan International Airport on Thursday.
The detained Indian national identified as Manoj Ambulkar was arrested at around 3:30 pm this afternoon while he was about to leave for Delhi on a Jet Airlines flight.
Ambulkar, a resident of Bipila district in the Madhyapradesh state of India have reportedly been working at a factory in Morang district.
According to the police, Ambulkar arrived in Kathmandu boarding a flight from Biratnagar this morning.
He has been detained at Gausala Police Station.
Shah, chairman of Space Time Network and Channel Nepal, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Lazimpat on Feb. 7 this week.
