NC lawmakers voice for govt change

(0 Votes)

KATHMANDU, FEB 08 - Nepali Congress (NC) lawmakers on Monday voiced for the start of discussion on the government change during the Parliamentary Party meeting.

Flaying the government for its failure to curb soaring market prices and power outage, and its inability to maintain peace and security in the country, the NC parliamentarians demanded that the party started discussion on the change in the government leadership. They criticised the Home Ministry, which is headed by the CPN-UML, for the worsening security situation in the Capital Valley and the security lapses that lead up to the murder of media tycoon Jamim Shah in Lazimpat yesterday.

The NC is one of the key allies of the UML-led government.

The meeting held in the NC PP office in Singhadurbar was chaired by its leader Ram Chandra Poudel.
