BIRATNAGAR, FEB 03 - Deputy Prime Minister and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum –Loktantrik Chairman Bijay Kumar Gachhadar said on Wednesday that the High Level Political Mechanism (HLPM) must be dismantaled as the members of the mechanism are engaged in hatching conspiracies to topple the government.

"Though the aim of the HLPM was formed with the aim of ending the political deadlock and strengthening ties between the government and the political parties, the members of the mechanism are involved in political equation and changing the government", Gachhadar said.

Speaking to the journalists in Biratnagar this morning, Gachhadar said the mechanism has been a platform for the three major parties to plot conspiracies.He accused the other parties of wrangling for power and said he has no greed for and any ministerial portfolio.

Mentioning that the country will have to face major problems if constitution is not drafted in the stipulated time, the DPM said everyone should strive in the path to drafting the new constitution by rising above the power game.
