DHAKA, JAN 30 - Nepali women handed Nepal its first win in the 11th South Asian Games in Dhaka by defeating Bangladesh 1-0 at Kamalpur, Dhaka on Friday.
Jamuna Gurung scored the only goal of the game in the hour's mark. Earlier, regional giants India routed Sri Lanka 8-1.
The win puts both the team at the top position in the games being conducted in the round robin system. Meanwhile, Afghanistan stunned strong favourites India 1-0 in men's football held later in the day.
