PARSA, JAN 28 - The Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) Parsa chapter staged a sit-in outside the District Administration Office (DAO) for two hours on the third day of their agitation on Thursday. The sit-in was staged from 10 to 12 under the leadership of MJF Parsa district chairman Shashi Kapur Miya. They blocked both the service seekers and DAO employees from entering the office.

During the demonstration, the agitating mob chanted slogans like ‘long live Madhesi unity', 'down with anti-federalism government', 'autonomous Madhesh one province', ‘down with anti-Madhesh government’, and clamoured for the implementation of the 22-point and the 8-point agreement signed with them earlier.

Addressing the rally at the sit-in venue, MJF Parsa Chairman Miya warned that his party will intensify its protests if the government continued to become indifference to address the Madhesi demands.
