Youth dies of cold

UDAYPUR, JAN 18 - A cold snap left a youth dead in Udayapur district Sunday night.
The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Umesh Magar of Jalpa Chilaune VDC, a student of Janata Multiple Campus.
Police Inspector Mahendra Thapa said Magar froze to death at his rented room at Triyuga Municipality-1. Earlier one month ago, three persons had died in cold snaps.
Elsewhere in the district, the cold spell has brought dense fog reducing visibility and normal life. Chilly condition is expected at least for another two weeks.
