KATHMANDU, JAN 13 - Ex-King Gyanendra Shah, along with his wife Komal, returned from a month-long private trip to India on Wednesday.
He arrived at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu this afternoon.
He was welcomed by his supporters and sympathizers at the Airport.
Deposed King Shah had left for India on Dec. 6 on a private trip to Orissa. The former monarch was accompanied by his wife Komal and private secretary Sagar Prasad Timilsina.
He attended a wedding of his relative during his India stay.
This was Gyanendra’s second trip to India after being deposed from the throne following the Constituent Assembly elections in 2008.
