Conspiracies rife to dissolve CA, says Badal
NARAYANGADH, JAN 11 - UCPN (Maoist) General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal' Monday accused the ruling coalition of hatching conspiracies to dissolve the Constituent Assembly (CA) on May 28, 2010—the deadline to promulgate the new constitution—and enforce the presidential rule.
Inaugurating the Ratnanagar Festival in Chitwan district today, Thapa charged that the ruling parties are planning to deploy President's army as the Maoist will no longer will remain the largest CA party after the dissolution of the CA.
He claimed that his party has acquired information about the political parties' plan to enforce autocracy.
Claiming that the political parties are trying to impose economic crisis in the nation to reintroduce regression, Thapa said the country's economy would prosper only after the Maoists take the political leadership.
