UML politburo meet discusses intra-party differences

KATHMANDU, JAN 06 - The politburo meeting of ruling party CPN-UML took place in the capital on Wednesday.

The meeting discussed the differences among the party members, conflict in the party's organisational department, among other issues.

According to a press release issued by the party today, General Secretary Ishwor Pokhrel and leaders Pradip Nepal, KP Sharma Oli, Ram Chandra Jha, Kashi Nath Adhikari, Urmila Aryal, Nagendra Chaudhari, Bam Dev Gautam and Amrit Kumar Bohara expressed their views on the internal matters of the party at the meeting.

The meeting will resume in Kathmandu tomorrow.

Today's meeting was presided over by Chairman Jhalanath Khanal.

Earlier, the UML had postponed its politburo meeting for some two weeks due to the busy schedule of the party members.
