No deal with India on internal affairs: Dev Gurung
LAMJUNG, DEC 30 - Senior leader of the Unified CPN (Maoist), Dev Gurung said on Wednesday that there will be no agreement with India on Nepal's internal affairs.
Speaking at a press meet in Besi Sahar, the former Law Minister Gurung said discussions will be held with the political parties on Nepal's internal affairs.
However, Gurung said the two countries could rather hold talks on Susta issue, unequal treaties and other bilateral issues.
Responding to a question asked by the journalists, Gurung said constitution-writing process was delayed due to wrangling among the political parties. He said statute can be drafted within three months' time if the parties become serious and responsible for the same.

He said the fourth phase protest of the Maoists will finalise the issues raised by the party and added the party will bring the people to the streets for massive protests if their demands were not met.
On the occasion, lawmaker Buddhi Ram Gurung, central advisor of the Maoist Rishi Ram Poudel, party Lamjung in-charge Devendra Parajuli, secretary Mohan Hari Poudel were present during the press meet.
