Army officers thrash a policeman
PALPA, Dec 30 - Nepal Army (NA) lieutenants Kaman Singh Gurung, Sabin Thapa and Hari Prasad Siwakoti allegedly beat up on-duty traffic policeman Laxman Gyawali after the latter stopped them at Silkhantol of Tansen for violating traffic rule.
Police detained the NA officers, who were travelling on a motorcycle, and handed them over to the Army's Garud Dal Battalion. Battalion Chief Bharat Chandra Gurung has promised to take action against the Army officers.
