Rs. 800,000 looted in Pokhara

POKHARA, DEC 29 - In yet another incident of broad daylight robbery, a gang looted Rs. 800,000 from one Manoj Chauhan at the premises of the Himalayan Bank in Pokhara on Tuesday.
Chauhan had gone to the bank to deposit the cash of Binod enterprise based in Chipledhunga in the town. The looters fled with the cash bag while Chauhan was filling up the voucher in the name of Pramod Goyal.
The CCTV shows that some three men looted the amount from the bank premises.
The victim told that the robbers are from Madhes region. Deputy Superintendent of Police Tulsi Prasad Adhikari, who reached in the incident spot, has been investigating the incident.
