PM visits Sweat Stupa built by Araniko
BEIJING, DEC 29 - Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on Tuesday observed Sweat Stupa (White Stupa) in Beijing built by Nepali architect of the 13th century Araniko.
The prime minister visited the famous 50-1-meter tall stupa along with other members of his delegation.
Araniko had constructed the stupa on the direction of King of Hunan dynasty Kubla Kha in 1279. The Government of People's Republic of China has listed the stupa as national heritage.
