Maoists have not violated CPA: Badal
PALPA, Dec 18 - UCPN (Maoist) General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal' said on Friday that his party declared autonomous states by confining within the boundary of Constituent Assembly, Comprehensive Peace Accord (CPA) and the law of the land.
Thapa said, "The puppet government has violated the CPA not the Maoists, we declared autonomous states by staying within the boundary of CPA, law and constitution."
Speaking at a press meet organised by the Revolutionary Journalists Association in Tansen, leader Thapa urged to take the Maoists autonomous declaration as a political announcement. He said autonomous states were declared as per the people's aspiration and to bring the general public's opinion in the public.
