I won't quit: Home Minister
KATHMANDU, DEC 16 -
Home Minister Bhim Rawal said that he will not quit from the post over the Dudhejhadi incident.
Responding to the Maoist demands for his resignation over the killing of five landless squatters at Dudhejhadi in Kailali district, Rawal, at the meeting of State Affairs Committe of the Legislature Parliament on Wednesday, claimed he has not done anything wrong and will not give up his berth.
He said it was the state's responsibility to safe gaurd the private and public property, and claimed the Dudhejadhi incident resulted following the invasion of public property. The local administration was compelled to use force after the failure of other means, according to him.
