SARLAHI, DEC 06 - A woman has been beaten to death at Pipariya VDC-2 of Sarlahi district on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Sabita Devi Singh, 30, who hails from Jaminiya of Mahottarri district.
According to the sources, Singh was thrashed by her neighbor as her child defecated at the latter’s compound.
Neighbor Fekan Rai including other seven to eight people in a group attacked Singh at around 5.30 last evening.
She died on spot, the police informed.
The dead body has been taken for the postmortem at the district hospital in Malangawa.
Meanwhile, the police have arrested local Sivadevi Yadav for her involvement in the killing.
However, other people who were involved in the attack are still at large.
