KATHMANDU, NOV 28 - CPN-UML leader KP Sharma Oli met Nepali Congress (NC) President Girija Prasad Koirala at latter's residence in Maharajgunj on Saturday.

Leader Oli said that his discussion with Koirala dwelt around the demands put forth by the main opposition Unified CPN (Maoist).

He added that the discussion also featured the subject of bringing the Maoists into the incumbent UML-led coalition.

"We discussed about the constitution drafting, management of the Maoist army and their arms and the ways to defuse the ongoing political deadlock," said Oli emerging from the meeting with the NC President.

Oli's meet with Koirala comes amid rising speculations about the 'secret' meeting between the NC President and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal in Singapore.
