PARSA, NOV 26 - The agitating civil servants and their umbrella organisations brought the entire administrative work in all government office across Parsa district to a grinding halt on Thursday protesting against the attack on then Parsa CDO Durga Prasad Bhandari by Minister for Agriculture and Cooperatives Karima Begam.
The civil servants, who have been staging two hour pen-down daily as a part of their protest since last Friday, resorted to the indefinite strike from today saying that the government did not proceed action against the minister.
Earlier, the civil servants had issued an ultimatum of seven days to the government to bring Minister Begam to justice.
