Agitating civil servants padlock Parsa DAO indefinitely
PARSA, NOV 23 - The agitating civil servants who have been demanding action against Agriculture State Minister Karima Begam for her assault against Parsa CDO Durga Prasad Bhandari have padlocked the Parsa District Administration Office from Monday, indefinitely.
Chairman of the Nepal Civil Servants Union, Parsa, Sacchinanada Singh said that they would continue to padlock the administration office until the state takes action minister Begam.
The agitating government officials halted regular works at all the government offices for two hours earlier today.
They have also threatened to indefinitely halt the regular works at the government offices from No. 26 if action is not taken against Begam within Nov. 25.
Minister Begam had slapped CDO Bhandari at his own office for sending her an old vehicle to receive her at the Simara airport two weeks ago.
Since then, the civil servants and their organizations have been demanding to take action against minister Begam.
