Current govt meaningless: Bamdev
DADELDHURA, NOV 20 - CPN-UML Vice Chairman Bamdev Gautam Friday remarked that the nation is heading without government.
Speaking to the journalists in Dadeldhura, Gautam said the present government has been confined to Singha Durbar only and that there is no meaning of the government’s existence.
He said the new constitution cannot be drafted if the single largest party in the Constituent Assembly continues to stay outside the government. He and stressed on the need for the formation of a national government including the UCPN (Maoist).
Furnishing clarification on the accusations against him that he has been trying to merge the UML and the Maoists, Gautam said that such allegations were just rumors and that he is busy in the historical task to bring the leftist parties together.
