BAITADI, NOV 18 - Two youths have died from excessive drinking at Patan-8 in the district last night.
The youths identified as Lokendra Bista, 22, of Bhumeshwor-6 and Harish Bista, 23, who were found dead this morning, must have lost their consciousness due to excessive drinking before falling off a cliff at Bhittabhirr, Patan VDC-8, police said.
Lokendra was a jeep driver at Road Division Office in Patan and Harish was an 11th grader at Sanskrit Higher Secondary School.
The duo fell off while they were heading for their home after “having good time” at Patan bazaar, the police said.
The locals saw the dead bodies of two at 9 this morning.
District Police Office, Baitadi said the investigation into the incident is being carried out.
