2 killed as truck falls into Trishuli
CHITWAN, NOV 18 -
A truck plunged into the Trishuli River at Dahakhani along Narayangud-Mugling road section early this morning, killing two persons.
The District Police Office, Chitwan, identified the dead as truck driver Rajesh Lama (18) of Bara and his helper Surendra Prasad Waiba (39) of Makwanpur.
The Narayangud-bound truck from Kathmandu met with the accident at 3:30 a.m, police said.
In another accident last night, nine persons were injured when a bus and an Indian truck collided head-on at Bharatpur.
Among the injured, eight returned home following treatment while the remaining is being treated at Bharatpur Hospital.
