KATHMANDU, NOV 15 - United Nations Mission in Nepal (UNMIN) Chief Karin Landgren called on Unified CPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal at latter's residence in the capital on Sunday.

The duo discussed the peace process, constitution drafting, latest political developments, among other subjects.

Landgren recently returned from New York after attending the meeting of UN Security Council.

The UNMIN chief also briefed Dahal about the discussion she had in the UNSC meeting.

Talking to reporters after the meeting, Landgren said that the discussion also dwelt on ways of ending the House deadlock.

Earlier, Landgren had submitted a report about Nepal’s peace process at the UNSC meeting.

UNMIN is a special political mission that has been mandated to look after the management of the arms of the former rebels.
