Xavier in last eight
Kathmandu, Nov 11 - Kathmandu Xavier, Golden Peak and Greenland entered the senior boy's category quarterfinals at the Fourth Valley Public Inter-school Basketball Championship on Tuesday. Kathmandu Xavier overpowered hosts Valley Public 'B' 50-39 with the help of Krishna Subedi's 23 points. Golden Peak trounced Om Gyanmandir 60-12 riding on Rakesh's 18 points. Meanwhile, Greenland registered an easy win over Elim Kids 30-5. In the same category, Nightingale and Gaurishanker also won their respective games. In the senior girl's category, Clinton Public thrashed Ganesh Secondary 14-10.
