Two armed ransom caller arrested
NAWALPRASI, OCT 16 - Police arrested two persons, who were engaged in collecting ransom by threatening businesspersons through phone calls in the name of underground-armed outfits, and made them public on Friday in Nawalparasi district.
They were arrested with a set of 9 mm pistol, its seven bullets, and two bombs.
The arrested are Aman Badai, 22, of Bagaha, Chanouli in Rupandehi district and Insaf Khan, 23, of Sunuwal-5, Kharibaari in Nawalparasi.
At a press conference organised at the district police office today, the police informed that Barai and Khan were used to taking ransom from the businessmen by threatening them through phones using ten different mobile numbers.
