KATHMANDU, SEP 25 - A husband, under the influence of alcohol, stabbed his wife to death in Kathmandu on Thursday morning. According to the police, 40-year-old Mangala Shrestha, a resident of Kathmandu Ward no. 3, died on the spot after her husband, 55-year-old Ratna Shrestha, attacked her with a sharp weapon. Ratna had been in an inebriated state at the time. The accused is undergoing examination for details.
Similarly, cash and jewellery worth Rs. 135,000 was stolen from 27-year-old Purna Prasad Regmi's room in Kathmandu Municipality Ward no. 9 on Wednesday morning.
