Arjun, Kanchhimaya win Kathmandu marathon
Tribhuvan Army Club player Arjun Basnet and Kanchhimaya Koju won the titles of the male and female categories respectively in the Kathmandu Marathon on Saturday.
Rajendra Bhandari and Uttam Khatri also from the Nepal Army finished second and third respectively.
The first, second and third place winners ran away with cash prizes of USD 5000, 3000 and 1500 respectively.
Meanwhile, Singh Khatri of the NA and Brinda Shrestha of the Armed Police Force won the Real Third Kathmandu half marathon in the male and female categories.
